Calculations.. All calculations in Raw Magick Lite are performed in floating point ( as apposed to integer maths ). This minimises errors such as posterisation due to rounding. Errors do not accumulate through each successive operation. This means that you have smoother tones and better detail.
Demosaicing - demosaicing is the process of converting the sparsely sampled data of the sensor into a full size colour image. Raw Magick Lite provides an algorithm like none seen among commercial raw converters. It provides excellent detail and combats all manner of colour artifacts.

Workflow based on decades of wetlab experience... Raw Magick Lite splits its workflow into 3 stages, Development, PostProcessing and Printing. In Development one sets up the tone characteristics, saturation, basic colour balance of the image and the initial cropping. Then Post Processing allows the use of a multitude of plugins for sharpening, noise removal, advanced white balance, tone adjustment, channel blending, black and white tinting and more. Printing has ICC profiling built in for accurate representation of your images on paper.

Full Expandable not only has Raw Magick Lite plugins available for post processing, there are other plugins which expand upon the functionality of the main application.
